Each row represents a different stage of grief. The first being denial, followed by anger, then bargaining, after that is depression, and finally acceptance.
My theme was the 5 stages of grief. The 5 stages of grief are what many people experience after they lose someone that was close to them in their life. The first is denial where the person can not believe this is happening. And they do not believe that the person is really gone. Next is anger. The anger can be directed at anyone, the person who passed, a family member and even yourself. You many feel guilty which in turn will make you more angry. Bargaining follows anger. In bargaining its about thinking that if we had only done this and this sooner they wouldn't be gone. After is depression. Depression is feeling unstoppable sad for more then 2 weeks. Many experience this with morning and missing of a loved one. Last is acceptance. Here you eventually accept that your loved one or friend has passed and you start to try and move on and continue in life. Though you never forget them.
I did this project by using my best friend Cat as a model. We went to a crematory is Weaton and spent the afternoon taking pictures. We were very respectful and left flowers on many of the graves we visited. We were also very quiet and respectful to others visiting the crematory, I did it this way because the 5 stages of grief is not commonly talked about it. We should be bringing more awareness to it instead of hiding it and dealing with it alone.
