Part 1-Documentary I found it really hard to photograph the waterfalls in this project. It was hard to get the exposure right so like looked good and not to bright. In a way this project changed my photography perspective because I realized I really did like exploring starved rock looking for cool places to shoot. I do prefer shooting posed over candid still because I think it easier to tell a story that way. I think my strengths are the fact all my photos are timed really well. You can see the water in the water falls and the light reflecting off of it which is really cool in my opinion.
Part 2- HONY I think it is just really cool how he photographs random people in New York city. It shows how different everyone lives are. I think it helps people connect because it shows them that there is diversity and that we are all very different. That we need to help and accept one another as people. It creates empathy because it shows that people need to spread kindness and love and not hate. The story that really stood out to me on our class blog is the story about Mr. Rossi. It talks about how he hurt his girlfriend that he really did love Junior year. That he will never forget her and their relationship. When I interviewed my person found it surprising how she was able to remember something from when she was 6 years old and she still laughs about it today.
